Measuring food choice and consumption behaviour the intelligent way has attracted substantial interest over the past decade among diverse research groups across the world. The dVices4Food international newtork has worked for the past 2 years to create cooperation in two important fields: to automate dietary intake assessment studies and thereby allow for easy2use estimation of the nutritional as well as the food waste and climate impact of food consumption, and to simulate food environments such as supermarkets and buffets that can be used in the study of food choice and behavioural nutrition. The final report is now online here.
