In the case of the 10th International Conference on Culinary Arts & Sciences at AAU in Copenhagen the outcome was the winning of he Worshipful Company of Cooks award for best ICCAS 2017 poster. Anne Clausen and Anders Fibiger Nørgaard took the prize for their work on "Public Procurement - the turn to Local in public foodscapes of Region Nordjylland". The work of the students examined the attempt to develop a urban and regional food identity around the city of Aalborg and region North Jutland and the role that coordinated public procurement strategies can play. The award was given after the nomination by an independent scientific committee and was selected among a total of 44 posters. The study has been supervised by Professor Bent Egberg Mikkelsen.
